Linda & Phil Valaika

Phil and Linda were drawn to Taos because it is a community rich in culture, art, history and natural beauty with many outdoor recreational activities.

In 1993, the Valaikas bought the RE/MAX franchise for Taos and the former Western Bank building on South Santa Fe Road. After major remodeling, they opened the RE/MAX of Taos real estate office in January of 1994.

In the first ten months of operation, they sold over $5,000,000 in volume; including ranches, businesses, homes and land.

Linda and Phil are very family-oriented and have six children, eight grandchildren and three dogs. They enjoy the many outdoor adventures that Taos, New Mexico has to offer, especially hiking, biking and skiing.
